Our storyLawyer turned fashion designer.
Alobeda Fashion Academy began with one person's decision to follow a passion for fashion out of the courtroom and into the studio — and to teach others to do the same, properly.
More than a fashion school.
Alobeda Fashion Academy (A.F.A) has trained designers in Ikorodu since 2017. Our aim has stayed the same from day one: to produce extraordinarily talented graduates with successful careers in fashion design.
We teach the full craft — pattern drafting, dressmaking and garment construction — and the specialist skills that set designers apart in Lagos: bridal wear, corsetry, aso ebi, corporate and casual wear. And because our founder came to fashion from law, we teach the business of fashion too: pricing, clients, and building a brand that lasts.
Our students don't just learn fashion design. They learn by doing, creating, fitting, correcting and growing.

“The school is to be experienced, not to be described. We look forward to having you with us.”

How we teach.
Practice over theory
Every lesson ends with something you've made with your own hands.
Fit is everything
We correct fit until it's right — that's what keeps clients coming back.
Craft plus business
A designer who can price, brand and sell builds a career, not just a skill.
Celebrate the work
Our annual runway graduation puts every student's collection in the spotlight.
