Why Alobeda

A school to be experienced, not just described.

Founded in 2017 by a lawyer turned fashion designer, Alobeda teaches the way a working atelier runs: you learn by doing, creating, fitting and correcting — and by understanding the business behind the clothes.

Learn by making

From classwork to practicals, you draft, cut, sew, fit and correct real garments every week — not just watch demonstrations.

A studio built to inspire

In October 2025 we moved into a brand-new, bigger training facility at 1A Unity Close, Eruwen — bright, organised and fully equipped.

The business of fashion

Skill alone doesn't pay bills. We teach costing, pricing and how to win and keep clients, so you leave ready to earn.

Graduate on a runway

Every year ends with our Graduation & Award Ceremony, where students show their collections on the runway to family, clients and press.

Accommodation available

Coming from outside Ikorodu or outside Lagos? Ask us about accommodation so you can focus fully on your training.

Certificate you can show

Finish your programme and receive an Alobeda certificate — proof of training for clients, employers and your own brand.
